All Squared Up

Choosing fabrics is my favorite thing!! I could make stacks all day of future quilts. Unfortunately, my ability to stack yummy bundles far exceeds my sewing time! So, when my friend Chrissy of Sew Lux Fabrics asked me if I'd like to curate a blogger's bundle, I jumped at the chance. (She actually calls them Curated Collections, which is so cute!) I spent hours finding just the right fabrics. And here it is!!

20130918-100658.jpgI hope y'all love it as much as I do!! Naturally, I had to create a pattern to go with it! So, the All Squared Up pattern was born! This dynamic little wall hanging uses lots of my favorite blocks: square in a square, flying geese and half square triangles. And the best part…you'll only need seven fat quarters and 1/3 yard of background! One of the fat quarters is your binding. And you use the scraps from the front to piece the back.

20130918-102800.jpgThe pattern is available on Craftsy! And the Curated Collection is available at Sew Lux fabrics!! And here is even more good news…if you buy the blogger's bundle, you get the pattern for FREE! The pattern will soon be coming to a local quilt shop near you (if you live near Winston-Salem:) So be on the lookout!
