A Teaching Extravaganza
There have been lots of classes in the last few weeks that I haven't gotten to share here yet. Brace yourself for an eye-candy-palooza! First up was my Granny Square class at Sew Original! I missed lots of pictures, but here are a few. A festive holiday version by Sue.And this fun Salt Air version by Gail! Then Theresa made the All Sewn Up sewing kit. (She still needed to sew down the binding when I took this pic:) She did a great job with all the top stitching! Packed to the brim!!Then I saw her a few days later and she was all finished! LOVE!!Everything fits so perfectly!!She even made a little scissors case to match! I might need to borrow that idea:)Then Gail and Debbie had a swooning party at The Little General! Gail and Debbie went to Nebraska with me and we always have the best time! This is Debbie's Eiffel Tower version! I love how the limey yellow makes everything pop!And Gail's holiday version. So festive!!Look at how her snowmen lined up! That's good living!Next up was the Double Wedding Ring class at Sew Original! We used the AccuQuilt which made it accurate and so much easier! Everyone was hard at work! And I'm so proud of what they made! Susan used pretty brights, Cindy used these really great vintage looking fabrics, Laurie used pinks and greens with a hint to purple, Patsy is using holiday, Pam used reproduction/vintage looking prints and Becky chose some Kaffe & Amy Butler. Each one is gorgeous! And we really had a great time!!Now we are off to Papanana's in King for a pencil pouch class. Jill is making this awesome (airplane!) pouch for her son! We enlarged it so he could keep more toys in it! Theresa made this sweet little pouch! She tried to resist the photo, but I got her! Taylor had NEVER sewn on a sewing machine! She did wonderfully!! I think we have a future sewist among us:) Sweet Vonda made this cute little pouch! Love her quilting! And the group shot! Melanie showed me this beautiful Designer Star she's making for a friend in need. Gorgeous!!Then I was off to Sewingly Yours for a class with my Fantastically Fussy pattern. This was such a fun class. These ladies were hilarious and we had a grand time! Look how much fun Lynn is having:)She is using a similar palette to mine from the pattern photo. I love the white tone on tone background. Perfect choice! And Melissa! She sews on her mother-in-law's machine. This is her version! I love it!And finally, my Scrappy Star class at Sew Original. We are making the quilt from Quilting from Little Things by Sarah Fielke. It is a gorgeous quilt! Gail is making all of her stars the same, a Not So Scrappy Star Quilt if you will! And Debbie is using all Bonnie & Camille fabric! I love how all their lines play well with one another. Gorgeous!! This is my favorite!! I love how the navy makes the colors pop!I have lots of classes coming up so be on the lookout for more photos:)xo LC
