City Samplers on a Lazy Sunday

I haven't had quite as many classes with everyone getting ready for the holidays. But the City Sampler folks met before a long break until January! These quilts are really coming along! If you're interested in joining in the fun, a new session is starting at Sew Original on the fourth Monday of the month (January through September) from 10-12. You can sign up with them! And if you live in the greater Linderellas area and are interested in a City Sampler class, let me or Linda/Carl know! It would be on Saturday. We are seeing if there's interest:)And back to the pretty pictures! These are Sarah's blocks. She missed class (pesky baby sitters), but her blocks are awesome! Amazing use of the raccoon.

20131124-100515.jpgAnd Cynthia's! She's going to add some more light fabrics, but I'm loving her palette so far.

20131124-100642.jpgAnd Joan. Joan thinks of each of her blocks as mini quilts! They are. Beautiful!!

20131124-100855.jpgHere are the Guru's! I love Florence more and more with each block she makes!! Plus, isn't she the cutest?!

20131124-101017.jpgAnd Gail's! She did a truly fabulous job if fussy cutting. Even the chevrons are nicely placed.

20131124-101157.jpgAnd Sue's gorgeous Kaffe version. Loving all those rich colors!!

20131124-101315.jpgTomoe is using black and white. She's considering the magenta sashing so she did a trial run. I love it but totally agree with her decision to wait until the end to make any choices!

20131124-101528.jpgTheresa's colors are beautiful! She's really selected a great mix from her stash and new. She's planning to set hers on point so she's making extras.

20131124-101551.jpgPatti and Lori are in the midst of piecing, but their choices are perfect! They've mixed in Tula with solids and it's awesome!!

20131124-101900.jpgAnd Debbie with her grey, black/white and pink. There's a fussy cut dog, need I say more?!

20131124-102016.jpgAnd Tomoe brought show and tell! 1/2" finished log cabin!!

20131124-102146.jpgAmazing. Absolutely amazing. Quilted by Laura Davies.

20131124-102159.jpgAnd Theresa brought this suitcase. She was inspired by the one Melody Miller brought. I want one!! If anyone sees a great vintage suitcase like this, let me know;) This is in my future.

20131124-102436.jpgLast week was the last meeting of the Lazy Sunday class at Papanana's! Some were missing, but check these out!! Cindy used a Riley Blake fabric line. So bright and happy!

20131124-102917.jpgAnd another Sweet Serenade version. Gorgeous!! Teresa is tackling Designer Star with Scrumptious next:)
