City Samplers on a Lazy Sunday
I haven't had quite as many classes with everyone getting ready for the holidays. But the City Sampler folks met before a long break until January! These quilts are really coming along! If you're interested in joining in the fun, a new session is starting at Sew Original on the fourth Monday of the month (January through September) from 10-12. You can sign up with them! And if you live in the greater Linderellas area and are interested in a City Sampler class, let me or Linda/Carl know! It would be on Saturday. We are seeing if there's interest:)And back to the pretty pictures! These are Sarah's blocks. She missed class (pesky baby sitters), but her blocks are awesome! Amazing use of the raccoon.
And Cynthia's! She's going to add some more light fabrics, but I'm loving her palette so far.
And Joan. Joan thinks of each of her blocks as mini quilts! They are. Beautiful!!
Here are the Guru's! I love Florence more and more with each block she makes!! Plus, isn't she the cutest?!
And Gail's! She did a truly fabulous job if fussy cutting. Even the chevrons are nicely placed.
And Sue's gorgeous Kaffe version. Loving all those rich colors!!
Tomoe is using black and white. She's considering the magenta sashing so she did a trial run. I love it but totally agree with her decision to wait until the end to make any choices!
Theresa's colors are beautiful! She's really selected a great mix from her stash and new. She's planning to set hers on point so she's making extras.
Patti and Lori are in the midst of piecing, but their choices are perfect! They've mixed in Tula with solids and it's awesome!!
And Debbie with her grey, black/white and pink. There's a fussy cut dog, need I say more?!
And Tomoe brought show and tell! 1/2" finished log cabin!!
Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Quilted by Laura Davies.
And Theresa brought this suitcase. She was inspired by the one Melody Miller brought. I want one!! If anyone sees a great vintage suitcase like this, let me know;) This is in my future.
Last week was the last meeting of the Lazy Sunday class at Papanana's! Some were missing, but check these out!! Cindy used a Riley Blake fabric line. So bright and happy!
And another Sweet Serenade version. Gorgeous!! Teresa is tackling Designer Star with Scrumptious next:)
Happy (Lazy) Sunday Sewing!xo LC
