From Taffys to Stars

I've been teaching lots this past week! Last Saturday was the Taffy Quilt class at Sewingly Yours. Taffy is a great pattern by Jaybird Quilts.

20140312-173530.jpgColor and value choices are really important for this quilt and everyone did a great job! Annette is using bright Amy Butler prints. I love her fussy cut centers!!

20140312-174934.jpgAnd The Guru! She is making this quilt for me!! Lucky me!!! I helped her shop in my stash for this one. Mom made the center square. Everyone else made the upper left square.

20140312-175659.jpgAnd Sunday was the Scrappy Star class at Sew Original. We are making the Stars in Your Eyes Quilt from Sarah Fielke's Quilting from Little Things. Shirley is making a quilt for her grandsons!

20140312-181251.jpgAnd finally the Color Theory class at Studio Stitch! These was a really fun group!! We had a blast!!! We are using a free paper pieced pattern from Six White Horses.
