MO Sewing*

I headed out to Missouri this weekend to teach a few workshops at the Sew Sweet Quilt Shop annual July event.IMG_2354.JPGThe shop is really cute and full of all kinds of things that I NEED!IMG_2355.JPGSeriously, lots of needs.IMG_2357.JPGThe first day, my workshop was the All Sewn Up sewing kit! We had a blast. This is one of my favorite patterns to teach because the students learn all the little tricks to finishing up a bag to look polished. Here's some of the great finishes!IMG_2459.JPGThe next day, we did the All Squared Up quilt!IMG_2391.JPGThere were lots of finished blocks in this class too. We chatted about color and value placement.IMG_2460.JPGI love seeing the block in all different fabrics!IMG_2461.JPGMelinda was a bit of an overachiever and finished five blocks!!IMG_2441.JPGAll the instructors did a trunk show. May Gunter is a certified Judy Neimeyer instructor. Her quilts are stunning.IMG_2373-0.jpgAnd Jenifer Dick of 42 Quilts showed off all her pretties!IMG_2365.JPGThere was also time for open sew!IMG_2442.JPGAnd visiting the giant pecan in town! Seriously, that's a giant pecan.IMG_2446.JPGxo LC* Sew MO was on a Row by Row license plate in Missouri. How cute is that?!
