Terrific Tip Tuesday: The Magnet

 This tip is from my friend Sarah. I saw it on her machine and thought it was a good one! You know when you're free motion quilting or making a bag and you're constantly burying threads? And your self threading needle hides from you? Well, Sarah put a little magnet with a sticky back on the top of her machine. She has a door there.  She keeps the self threading needle in reach when she needs it! I'm anticipating a lot of questions about magnets and machines. I don't know if it would affect your machine and each machine is different. I'd recommend checking with your tech. I keep a magnetic pin cushion on my machine and I've never had problems. I'm sure the strength of the magnet matters and it doesn't take much to hold a needle!xo LC
