Meet Cased

It's new pattern week! And also new online store week! I'm quite excited to show you lots of great new things. First up is a pattern that was born out of personal need. I like to have lots of pens on hand for doodling and such, but it makes me crazy when I can't easily see them all. I decided that I needed a little case that would lay open for easy viewing but also quickly pack up for on the go travel! Meet Cased!Cased1This case is perfect for pens and stationery supplies. It also works well for a little sewing kit for class. Or a travel hexie kit! Or journaling loot! Or jewelry for a trip! Really, the options are endless.cased2This is another pattern in my Mini May line. These are intended to be completed in just a couple hours. It uses a hard frame clutch (you can find those here and here). I personally find the frames with screws to be a bit sturdier, but I use both!cased3You might be wondering what this lovely fabric is?! It's from Alison Glass and called Seventy Six. I loved the fussy cutting opportunities and the scale is perfect for these little cases. I had to actually stop myself from fussy cutting every piece.alisonThe pattern is available in my shop in both PDF and printed paper and coming soon to your local quilt shop! Use code FREESHIP17 for free shipping! And remember to use #casedbag on social media as you create your cased bags! Warning, you can't make just one...CasedCoverxx LC
