Terrific Tip Tuesday: Quilting Chicken

How many of you have ever played chicken with running out of bobbin while quilting? I know I have! Nothing is more frustrating than the bobbin running out when you're right in the midst of a design. Plus, I truly hate burying threads. So, I've started running a bobbin to almost full. I stop it just as it starts to look full, but before it stops itself. And then I put that on the top of my machine to be my top thread. I load the bottom with a full bobbin. Then as the top thread nears the end, you know that the bottom is also close. When it gets close, I quilt over to the edge and start the process again with two new bobbins!xx LC
