Terrific Tip Tuesday: Broken Needles

There's always a terrifying split second when you break your sewing machine needle and the pieces fly up in your face. If you're like me, you're probably trying to figure out what mistakes you made to lead to this moment. And then your next thought is...did I mess up the machine??? I'm always a bit panicked that a small piece of needle is lurking inside the machine, hiding from me and waiting to wreck havoc on my next bit of stitching. To ease my mind, I get out a new needle and lay the broken pieces next to it. This way, I'm sure I didn't miss a piece and nothing is hiding out. Although I'm certainly hoping that none of us will need this trick today!xx LC
