Coloring in Southern Pines
There's been a whole lotta teaching going on in the last couple weeks! I headed down (over?) to Linderella's in Southern Pines!Last week I started out with the basket class. The guru joined in the fun! Julie made this adorable basket!!
Naturally I forgot to take any pictures of the one the guru (& I) made, so standby for that cuteness! Then I had Color Theory! Such a fun group of gals!!
We met this week for session 2!
I had a few samples to show off!
This one is a loaner from my dear friend Kelly! Look at that quilting!!!
Each student made their own unique choices! I love all the different options for these wall hangings!Wendy chose solid middles with prints on the outside. She did a great job at finding prints that coordinated well with her solids. I'm not sure Wendy is ready to embrace paper piecing, but I'm confident she will finish this:)
Pat fell in love with Kelly's sample and wanted to do a similar piece playing with all the colors.
Michelle selected all gorgeous solids! She's doing a solid diamond with the tertiary colors in the outer ring.
Cyndi dove into her (extensive) homespun stash to make a color wheel of homespun!
This block is by Anna of Six White Horses. And then Cyndi surprised us with a trunk show! She's so talented...
If you find yourself in the Southern Pines area, you'll want to stop by Linderella's! Just a wonderful shop!!xo LC
