Lucky Thirteen

I've long admired the amazing work in the Doll Quilt Swap on Flickr. The quilts are between 9x9" and 20x20". And I think most end up as wall hangings! And they're all just amazing- tons of details, intricate quilting and tiny piecing! Well, I was lucky enough to get into round 13!!My partner said she liked bright neutrals/low volume with a spot of saturated color. I decided to practice my hexie making skills with some low volume fabrics.

20130216-112111.jpgAnd then the quilting began! I did a few chevron lines to get started! Added loops through the hexies.
