Tons of Teaching
Last weekend was a marathon of teaching- three classes on Saturday and another on Sunday. And this weekend, I have the same schedule!Last Saturday, I started with my back design class at Sew Original. We discussed how to draft designs and then designed for the quilt tops that the students brought. Most of my back designs are done to maximize fabric and create interest. Here are some of my favorites:My granny quilt.
The triangle quilt that I made for Mack.
And this one for my brother.
My afternoon classes were Understanding the Rainbow and the Voile String Quilt at The Little General. Those classes both meet again tomorrow, so I'll show you those lovelies soon!On Sunday I taught the Pretty Little Pouch! I had my friend Heather and her adorable god-daughter.
And my friend Sue. Her daughter has already put her in production and ordered a bunch of pouches:)
I'm also teaching the Designer Star in the morning at Sew Original. It starts at 9. There are still a few spots left, so let me know if you're interested!
And then Sunday I have the Noodlehead 241 class at The Little General. There's one spot left in that one!
I'm looking forward to a weekend of sewing, quilting & fun!xo LC
